Pedro Saul Castillo Carrillo

Senior Professor at the National University of Tumbes, currently assigned to the Academic Department of Agronomy, Professional School of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences. With 39 years of experience in teaching. Head of the Entomological Museum of the aforementioned university. He has held management positions such as Dean (e) of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Head of the Department of Plant Health and Livestock Production, director of the Professional Schools of Forestry and Environmental Engineering, Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, director of the Graduate School, Vice-Rector of Research (e) among others. He has participated as a speaker in Entomology Conventions and Congresses at the National and International level. He has published scientific articles and manuals. He has received distinctions such as: Order of Engineering by the National Council of Engineers of Peru. Bayer First Place Award for scientific article published in the Peruvian Journal of Entomology. Recognition from the Chemical Technology and Commerce Company S.A. and the Entomological Society of Peru, for their dedicated work and contribution to the development of entomology in the Tumbes Region.
