Manuel Saucedo Bazalar is an associate researcher at the Molecular Biology Laboratory of the National University of Tumbes. He has a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology (granted by CONCYTEC) and experience in research on molecular diagnosis by PCR and RT-PCR of phytopathogens, proteomics in MALDI TOF mass spectrometry and metabarcoding studies of microbial communities in plants. Manuel Saucedo is a researcher for the conservation of biodiversity at Bosque Guardián. He conducts studies and evaluations of aerial and aquatic environmental DNA for monitoring mammals in the ACR-Cordillera Escalera. In addition, he carries out research on DNA barcoding of mammals and orchids for the generation of a local DNA database and subsequent genome sequencing studies. Manuel Saucedo is a collaborating researcher at the Genomics and Bioinformatics Laboratory for Biodiversity at the National University of San Marcos.
