He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences, a Master's Degree in Aquaculture and Environmental Management, and is a Fisheries Engineer by profession. He has completed his studies in a Master's Degree in Molecular Biotechnology. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Fisheries Engineering and Marine Sciences at the National University of Tumbes (Untumbes), in charge of different subjects related to the area of ​​scientific research. He is a researcher recognized by the Peruvian state (Renacyt Researcher level IV). He has conducted research in the area of ​​aquatic microbiology, as well as studies on biodiversity in tropical aquatic ecosystems. He participates in various research projects in the area of ​​biotechnology, environmental conservation, and aquaculture. He heads the Tropical Aquatic Biodiversity Research Group at the University of Tumbes and is a member of the Research Ethics Committee at Untumbes. He is interested in research in biotechnology, aquaculture, and environmental conservation.
